My results came through yesterday:

A week on Sunday, i'm going on holiday.
Im going to Rome for four nights and five days and staying at the Hilton Rome Cavalieri.
Of course you might think that this will be a super expensive trip. A once in a life time, spending my life savings type deal. But alas, being a trusty Hilton employee, the four nights in total will cost 220 euros. That's £150.
Considering one night to the general public would cost £350, i think its well worth the money.
Im super excited.
Like actually.
In other news, my payslip for last month came in and I earned - after National Insurance contributions - £751.00
That means that in the month of July, I spent the equivalent of over a week solid at work.
Thats fucking disgusting.
Ive come to the conclusion that any time I write on this, I just sound like a fucking pretentious loser.

Dear livejournal,
On the 8th of September, i'm moving to Edinburgh.
I shall embark on a five year long course in Chemical Engineering with Management.
At the end, i'll be a Master of Chemical Engineering. Isn't that exciting.
I plan to be the second Chemical Engineer to win a Nobel Prize.
I don't actually know where i'm living yet, and its really scary.
Also, im going to have to learn to cook, otherwise, I may starve, but then again, I don't really eat anyway.
Also, on September 12th it will be my eighteenth birthday. ALthough, that's the second day in to freshers week.
In other news, recently I have had the utter privillege of on certain days, eating all three meals at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor.
I am so lucky.
Not.
Although I suppose pay day this month will be MAMMOTH!!
My favourite TV show right now is 'How To look Good Naked'. Its grreat.

The weekend and such like:
Friday Night, it was Jamie's birthday so after work I went up to his "rocking party" and we went to the Garage. It was pretty rubbish and really busy. I drunkenly decided it would be a good idea to walk home. Bad idea.
Saturday, I woke up, still drunk, after 3 hours sleep then went to work. I worked an 11.5 hour shift. 11:30 to 11.
Sunday, not much happened. I slept. Argued. And didn't feel like doing much.
Yesterday, went on a visit to 'Glasgow Central Mosque'. Then Darren came up [eventually] and I punched him in the face. Tough love.
My theory test is at 9:15 on Friday morning.
Im dreading it.
My new F-Minus CD finally came. It is what can only be described as a fifteen minute assault on the ears. But in a really good way.

Yeah. Work was great last night. There was three newbies and I felt like i'd been working there for years. Also, Strathclyde Police decided to tip me £9.
Well, not really got much to say. Ive not been doing much apart from working and being at school. Dressing up for halloween got a dinghy. Halloween itself was really great [!]. Not.
Im booking my theory test later on, im kind of scared but also kind of excited. At least i'll be one step closer to driving. Vroom vrooom!
Also, myself and Cara Louise are going to see Roll Deep. Im excited.

Today Darren and I have been going out for a year.
In other news;
I 'achieved' four A's and a B in my Highers.
Today I bought sparkly red shoes.
I was accepted for Chemical Engineering at Edinburgh University today.
Im going back to school on Monday.
Its my birthday on September 12th.

NYC was grrreat.
Seeing Leftover Crack was an obvious highlight.
The gig was really good, made better by the fact that many Choking Victim songs were played.
In other news,
I have a job. At the Hilton. As a Banqueting Host.
I get to wear a simply ravishing Purple Polyester dress. I even get my own name badge.
Its great fun. Really.
Results arrive in six days.

Today im at The Boy's house.
We're doing face painting.
He's going to be a Zombie.
Its a test run for Send More Paramedics on Monday.

This week i'm on my Work Experience Placement at BBC Scotland.
On Monday I went to Edinburgh with "the team" and was shown the High Court and BBC Edinburgh. I was even taken to lunch and offered wine [an obvious bonus]
Yesterday I sat through the most boring morning of my life at the High Court in Edinburgh watching a Criminal Appeal, then in the afternoon I sat around the News Room reading newspapers.
Today im at BBC Glasgow doing basically nothing apart from trooping about the building with the Sound Engineer and supposedly researching stories for BBC Radio Scotland. I might even experience the sheer thrill of watching Reporting Scotland being broadcast in 20 minutes as I can see it from my desk.
In other news, a certain small child told me to come round for him and when I did he was AT THE CINEMA WITH LUBO.
RRAAGGIINNGG!!!
But I suppose i've forgiven him. Maybe.

Im actually dreading Friday.
Last night I wasn't even worried.
The night before that I was heavy freaking out.
There's too many what ifs involved.
What if I can't write an essay about my novel?
What if I can't answer any of the questions?
What if I completely fuck up the close reading?

I saw the BEST thing EVER today.
So there I was, trooping up to do the shopping, housewife stylee and then I saw it....
On every single lamp post all the way to Anniesland station someone had written all of the lyrics to the Ramones songs '53rd & 3rd' and 'I wanna be your boyfriend' [my favourites]
That put a hhuuggee grin on my face. All the way to Safeway.
Okay, so this anonymous Ramones fan had also written 'Ghostboob' on an electricity box, but nobody's perfect.
Im going to Photography tonight just to see my 'lads' [everyone there's a 60 year old paedo who always want to 'try out their new cameras' and take pictures of me and each other]
Then the boy is coming to watch The Apprentice LIVE FINAL!!!!!!!!!! But its okay because then im going to stab him.. so if you want to speak with Darren, you can't. He'll be DEAD.
